12:01 pm - FFFFFFFFF Abe (12:00:45 PM) Abe|zzz: Update your damn LJ. :P I guess I'll start with the old old news (back in late July news) that Lisa broke up with me. I guess some people had not heard yet. So I'll get that out there. To be honest, I am still kind of not over it. I have a boyfriend, and he is local. I do like him alot; but I still think there is something to be said for a first love, I dunno if part of me will ever get over it. That's not to say I wasn't hurt deeply. Even if she offered to take me back I would say no, considering she had a new boy the very next day. In the back of my mind I'll always think that she was cheating one me, whether or not she was I'll never know. Anyway that's all that. Ben and I have been going out to a movie night club thing at the local college for the past few months. Last Friday was supposed to be the last one for the semester but it was cancelled due to ice storms cutting out power in many places. The majority of the weeks were different animes. Not exactly my thing; but two in particular I really enjoyed. Hotaru no Haka (Graveyard of the Fireflies) was undoubtably one of the most heartwrenching films I've ever seen. Not saying as much as others, based on how often I watch movies; but still it had me bawling at the end. The other wasn't a movie; but a series called Kino's Journey. I liked that each episode was seperate of all the others, it makes it easier to jump into the middle of it, rather than have to start from the beginning to understand everything. So that's been fun, I'll miss going to it every Friday. Hum de dum. Let's see. Die Toten Hosen has a new album out. I'll need to get my hands on that at some point. Something tells me my old friend Tobias will help me in that endeavor in some manner. Anathema's new album has been pushed back until some time in 2009, I was bummed about that. From the previews I've heard it looks to be another stellar piece of work. Can't wait for that baby to come out.  I grabbed a copy of the new The Offspring album, which I think is far better than their previous two. You're Gonna Go Far Kid is probably my favorite single of theirs since their Smash album. On the WoW front I left my original guild, Gaia, after the Lisa thing. I joined a guild called Utopia, which later became Rebirth after the CO-GMs left. I stayed there until a few weeks ago when a huge shitstorm of drama involving me being a sarcastic douchebag caused the guild to "fall apart" though most of the people reformed a new guild sans me and a friend of mine, who sadly now plays on another server. So I rejoined an old guild of mine called The Dark Exalted. I still have many friends in there and so far everything's been like it used to be. Other than that not much is up. Guess that's all for now. I'll catch you bitches later. 03:12 pm - Beneath the Waves we Were Invincible So! Christmas/New Year. Good times! I spent the Dec. 27th to Jan. 2nd down in A T L with Lisa. I had a shitton of fun. We did alot more things outside the house than during my first visit. We went bowling a few times. I beat her 2 games to 1 the first time, and the second time she destroyed me in the last game 140-75. We also went to see Dewey Cox, which was mildly funny. If you enjoy Will Farrel movies you'll enjoy this one too, it's in the same vein. I also took my first trip (as we don't have them up here) to a Waffle House. It was okay, they burnt my bacon though which made me sad. Lesee...we were going to go minigolfing; but it was too cold, so we went to an arcade instead. To be honest it was kind of not that fun; but oh well can't win them all. I was just happy to be there. We also baked sugar cookies, though they came out a bit too sweet for my tastes,  it was alot fo fun to make something for the first time. I still hate ovens though. ;3; She also gave me her old PSP for X-Mas, which I've used quite often since then. On top of that she got me this awesome shirt ! She didn't think I liked it; but really I do. It fits me perfectly. *flex* I'm sure I am forgetting something, and Lisa will no doubt remind me about it later. But for now onto the musical portion of the post. NEW. AYREON. ALBUM. 01011001. It's amazingly good. Then again what do you expect? Every album they have made has been. It took me a few listens; but I got into it, just like all the old ones. The funniest part is when the guy from Blind Guardian starts singing, and you can blatantly tell it's him. I think he's the first person I could do that with. Overall the album has the same parts where it sends shivers up your spine. It's one of the things that seperates them from alot of other bands for me. On a less happy note, the new Avantasia album has not yet grown on me. Something about it just doesn't seem Avantasia-ish, like their other two albums. Perhaps in the future it will grow; but as of yet it is only an okay album. On equally sad news, though kind of old now, another great progressive metal band, Green Carnation, split before releasing their newest album. I was anticipating it alot too. I was quite bummed to hear about the break up. I guess that's all for now. Later y'all. 11:14 am - ...And then they died. So...it's been a while eh? Lotsa stuff to talk about. Guess I'll start with the biggest news, I have a new sister-in-law. Yep, my bro got married. Lisa came up for the wedding too. I bawled my eyes out liek a little baby when I saw Niki walking down the aisle. Despite all the grief I give her (in jest of course) I really do like her. It was a good day, and I had lots of fun. Uh...also working on getting some more Badges for my warrior, looking for an upgrade to my cloak. Only need 11 more IIRC. Other than that...not much to talk about there. Just lots of questing and dailies. More RL stuff, my parents went down to Disney World recently, for a belated 25th anniversary celebration. From what my mom told me everyone down there was super nice to them. They gave them lots of discounts and free stuff because of their anniversary pins. It's refreshing to hear about that kind of stuff in today's world y'know? But they got home just this past Friday. They brought me back a juice glass and a beer mug (which I won't use for beer obviously) both inscribed with the name 'Ibun' on them. But they had the most amazing time, just like they did on previous visits to the most magical place on Earth. Lastly...Lisa and I are closing in on our 1 year anniversary. And to celebrate I am flying down to Atlanta to spend it with her, as well as New Year's  I am kind of nervous about it. This is the first time I'll be flying by myself anywhere. I can't wait to see her again though. Glee! Of course we will be exchanging Christmas/Anniversary gifts when I arrive as well. So yes that shuold be lots of fun. PS: Lisa's birthday is on the 13th. 08:16 pm - Home Again     Well as the title suggets I am back from my wonderful trip to Georgia. I had a real blast. The first day (Sunday) was pretty uneventful. We went to Publix (grocery store) to pick up some food for me. Her mom made some delicious manicotti; but I was kinda not too hungry, so I only had one to eat. Other than that i just presented my gifts to her and her parents, which they all seemed to enjoy, and talked with her family a bit.     The next day we did some shopping, I bought Lisa a nice brown dress for my brother's wedding. I think she looked beautiful in it; but of course she disagrees We also checked out the WalMart there. I got some new shoes and some uh...other thing... and lisa got a new mouse for her laptop.I had some of the homemade pizza that her mom made for me. The cheese and pepperoni didn't look like they cooked well so I got rid of them; but other than that it was amazing!     Tuesday was the most eventful day there, of course being my birthday her mom made cake for me. The frosting was a wee bit strong for me though, so I didn't eat any. Lisa and I went to the weekly Steak n' Shake furmeet. We got a bit lost along the way because Georgia street namers are apparently retards. I got to meet Cobalt and Foxx, who I knew from World of Warcraft. I had a good time, it was nice to hang out with a bunch of people, even if I was a bit shy. But the milkshake I had was very tasty, so I was happy.     Wednesday was kinda bleh...last day there, hate saying goodbye. You get the idea. I wrote out a little thank you note to the Mills Family and vegged around until it was time to go. Lisa dropped us off at the airport and we said our final goodbyes; but at least we were able to fight away tears unlike the first time she visited. And now, after my brother drove us home, I am at my computer once again, typing this out. So that was my vacation. It was wonderful and I love Lisa all the more after it.
